Erie Effects: 2011 West
Erie Effects: 2011 West Video Clips. Duration : 5.27 Mins.
A Year in the Life of a Lake is a time lapse video of Lake Erie during 2011, compiled from over 25000 photos taken during the year. From season-to-season, month-to-month, even day-to-day, the face of America's "North Coast" changes, sometimes so much so that it seems to be a totally different lake in a different place. So, every morning at 8:30 am during 2011, the lovely and gracious Lora headed out to the exact same spot on a bluff in Sheffield Lake, just west of Cleveland, Ohio, with her Olympus E-420 Digital SLR and 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 ED Zuiko Digital Lens to "capture the moment." Indecision over which view would be best resulted in taking shots to the East, North and West (no lake view to the south). The "Pick of the Pics" from those 25000 shots, along with Lora's other photos can be viewed at www.sympholio.com and http The soundtrack for the Erie Effects series of videos was composed and performed by Project Mojo, whose sound can only be described as Great American "Mutt" music: a mixed breed with an ancestry scattered haphazardly across the musical spectrum. Like all mutts, it is good tempered and friendly. In the Great Lakes Song Writing Contest for 2010, "Carousel Dream", which was co-written by Lora (aka Lola) placed 6th out of 700+ entries. Project Mojo performs locally in the Northeast Ohio area and has logged 650+ gigs in the past seven years. More information is available at www.projectmojo.net.
